Stop wishing and achieve it

achieving dreams

I wish I could loss some weight. I wish that I had a nice car like that. I wish that I had more energy. I wish I had more joy. I wish I could ___________. I wish that _________. Those blanks can be filled in with many things. We say these things as if they are something that is unachievable for us. But the truth is that anything is possible for us (Phil 4:13). We can do anything that we put our mind to. Now it may not be easy but we can do it.

Because we are not alone and we have the power and strength of Jesus within us we can do whatever we put our mind to. There is nothing that is unreachable. Even your biggest wildest dream is achievable if we put in the work. If we make use of the strength and endurance that is within us through Jesus the sky is the limit. He is able to make anything happen if it is within His will for you.

Our problem is that we fail to believe that we can do anything and everything that is on our heart to do. We look at how hard it will be and the obstacles that we will face and it scares us. We get intimidated. We look at our own strength instead of the strength that we have through Jesus. We rely on our own power, endurance, and ability instead of relying on Jesus to get us to victory. He is able to do far more than we can dare to hope, think, or imagine(Ephesians 3:20).

What ever it is that you desire to do put your trust in Jesus to help you do it. Follow the Holy Spirit and you will have victory. When it gets hard do not give up. When things try to stand your way do not give up. When you get scared or begin to doubt do not stop. Keep up the work. Keep the faith in Jesus. Keep relying on Hos strength and not your own. Keep reminding yourself that you are not alone in it and that where you are weak He is strong (2 Corinthians 12:10). There is nothing that is impossible because you have Jesus within you so make your dreams a reality. No more wishing. You can do it because you are more powerful than you know.
