How do you feel about your relationship with God? Do you think that you have done enough for His acceptance? Or do you think that you have done too much wrong for His acceptance? Do you think that you have done enough right for His love? Or do you think that He is mad at you for your failures? Can I tell you something……. Your relationship with God has nothing to do with what you do. It has everything to do with who you are! And you are a perfect child of God through Jesus.

God sees us through Jesus. He sees everything that Jesus is when He looks at us. He does not see us for mistakes, rebellion, downfalls, or failures. He sees our hearts, which is where Jesus resides. He sees us as who He created us to be. He knows that we are part human and that we have to learn how to walk by our spirit and not our humanity. He knows that we are on a journey and that we are going to take wrong turns at times. He knows that we can not be perfect in ourselves and that is why He made Jesus to be perfect for us.

Until we know that we are right with God our actions will not add up. We have to know that we are right before we will act right. What we believe is what we will do. If you believe that you can ride a bike without falling then you will jump on the bike and ride it right. But if you believe that you can not ride the bike then you will not ride it right. The same goes with every other thing in our lives. If we think that we are bad then we are going to act bad. But if we know that we are right then we will act right.

The good news is that while we are learning to act right God already sees us as right. He does not see us for the wrong that we do and He does not hold anything against us. He wants us to believe that we are who He says that we are so that we can be who He created us to be. He knows that if were to not accept us until we right that we would never be right.

Believe that God sees you the way that He says He does today and watch your actions change. Watch your joy and peace increase as you know who you are in Jesus and begin to see yourself that way. Believe that you are already loved and accepted by God. Believe that Jesus lives within you and that you are all that He is. Believe that through Jesus you can do anything that you need to or want to do. Now watch as you begin to walk it out.
